Boomerang 40-46

The Boomerang Trainer by Seagull Models features a large wing area and a docile semi-symmetrical wing section.  A great performing RC trainer with original Australian trim - highly visible colours. With it's huge wing area and semi-symmetrical wing section gives the newbie an easy and forgiving flight. In the fuselage the R/C compartment with pre-installed servo tray allows for virtually any make of servo/receiver and battery combination.

Dago Red

This scale model of the famous air racer Dago Red comes in a "foam version" from various Far East sources but the one I am going to review is imported by Century UK and has 63 inch wingspan. Most likely this is the StarMax 1600 PNP version or possibly the FMS.  Century do state that their version is updated to their specifications, possibly the ESC but else unknown.

Dynamic S

A review of the Dynamic S Racer power assisted glider from HobbyKing and mods. I will include some modifications I think it needs too. The Dynamic S is a Plug-N-Play, requiring only your own receiver and Lithium Polymer battery pack. It forms the backbone of a new United Kingdom racer class that HobbyKing are promoting. Constructed of EPO foam and reinforced with carbon strips within the fusleage and wings.

If you have read the build of this model  we can now cover the flight testing and trimming of the Vanquish model and hopefully provide some useful set up tips. There are many different methods for setting up an aerobatic model and some may disagree with mine, but I have found this process to work well for me, I have to admit that I am perhaps not as thorough as others might be but trimming is all about making improvements to the flying qualities of your model. How far you want to take it is up to you: each pilot can decide when they feel they have gone far enough to satisfy themself.

Update: There is now two downloadable files on Setting up and Triming Guide by Jon Tappin which can be found here: Part 1 & Part 2
