Has anyone got experience of this model? Is it a good introduction to slope soaring. I would appreciate your advice.
Thanks

That's a five footer hence "XL". Generally wings that most of us have Simon are in the 46 -48 inch class. ie; JP Si Wing. Here at www.rcworld.co.uk/acatalog/JP-Si-Slope-S...00285.html#SID=530RC RC World they have 6 instock This is the model I use for slope and also the basis for the powered Superwing I have just made.

You will have to allow for some coloured tape, definitely some 50mm glassweave tape, two cheap servos and a little battery and a RX. Should come out less than £80.00 ;) But hours of fun.

Slightly off subject: I used to have a giant wing , 2 meter and the Guys use to try and attack it. Of course they lost out in the ensuing battle.
