Surfed until my eyes were like an owls, big and expressionless. Where can I get some tail wheel springs from? The Pitts lost one on Saturday. Might be handy to have supply of them.;)

We all know what they look like.;) Pretty standard springs on all the tail wheel items I have seen. There must be springs at a few pence each somewhere compared to buying new tail units every time . :(
Specs:
Total Length = 100mm
Spring Coil Length = 50mm
Spring Diameter = 3.55mm
Spring Wire gauge = 0.062mm
Don't ask me what tension though.

The springs pictured here. although my tail wheel is a bit more scale than the Miracle 120cc
I had considered this uk.rs-online.com/web/p/extension-springs/0821475/ and straighten out the coils each end to create free length of 100mm

Phil just checked I have a assortment of springs that should fit the bill instead of straightening the end you could make a wire closed hooks to extend I mi,ght be able to make springs to your pattern from piano wire. I think your wire gauge is wrong were back on microns
