DSX 9 Gimbal was created by Phil Ford
Today I have noticed that when bringing the throttle down to low if I pulled a little too hard back it acts as throttle cut. In other words it going past the near end of the pot. Needs replacing and have contacted Mike at Model Radio. This may be some of the issues that I have had with throttling down on IC engines. Might be the end of life for this DSX9. :(

Most higher end transmitters have a stick calibration feature - have you checked your manual?

Never seen anything in my DSX9 manual re stick calibration. Although it was the first JR unit to adopt DSM2 RF protocol, i think the firmware dates to pre 2010.

Can you find the Service Manual for the DSX9 Phil? Years ago I had problems with an early JR X-347, sorted it using the JR service manual, which gave instructions for a factory reset procedure.

Phil, I just tried this routine on my DSX9 and I can get it to go to factory settings. It might solve your throttle prob.
