I do this for years on cars, carb , thermostat housings,etc, etc. I used to use Kellogs cornflakes card, printed on one side and waxed the other, although card packaging has changed over the years, hence the suggestion of thin CA to seal it. Or, try your local garage and see if you can scrounge a bit of gasket sheet and cut your own out.DaveBright wrote: It was suggested to me yesterday that cereal box cardboard does the job if cyano is used to seal the permeable side....?
