EDF & Jet Day 2017

great big blue sky, although a crosswind (SSW) for today and quite breezy it did not deter any of the pilots. Those of you who didn't make it you missed some new jet action!

Considered to be the best jet on show was Big Dave's F86 "Cold War" warrior. This fabulous model even had a smoke generator... See image 1.
Runner up was Dave B's Hawk although it did some great aerial work. See image 2
New Jets were Jiri's L39 Albatros (fitted with smoke too!) with two flights, one test flight yesterday ready for today and John Ireland's MIG fresh out of Pete Chilvers workshop (latter did not fly). images 3 & 4

Even though I was very tired yesterday having only got back home at 3.15am, had a great day, lots of nice models, good flying and great banter as ever.
