Orcrist - 2.5m aerobatic glider was created by MikeSeale
I've been busy designing and building over the last couple of months and finally have the model just about ready for its maiden flight. The design is heavily influenced by the French 'Excalibur' design but uses a traditional wooden fuselage and foam wings.

Hopefully the Orcrist will fly just as well!

Thanks Mike, what an inspiring flight!
Good luck with the Orcrist, when will you be building the second one and who will be your co-pilot?

Mike - Most impressive video - the "hand caught" landing was something - looking at the rocky terrain it was
possibly the only option.
Look forward to shots of your maiden flight.
Colin.

Successful maiden this afternoon. Way too much down elevator throw but other than that a really easy flight. Camera battery packed up after the first flight so no more video with it dialled in.
