Tx out of trim

I have discovered that the last 3 of my regular models I have flown on my Futaba T8FG Tx have all required many clicks of up trim to attain normal flight. This includes turbine, gas, and electric. I can only assume that the Tx itself has either got a loose pot on the Elevator axis or it has come out of calibration/trim for some other reason.
What to do? I assume it could jump back or get worse if I continue using it.
Any ideas (and no I don't want to sell my soul to the devil and get a spektrum, and I have too much investment in Futaba Rx's to switch to JR) ?

I think your best bet is to get it fixed or buy a 2nd hand 8FG.

It probably is a faulty potentiometer.

I love my 8FG but when it does eventually die I shall probably switch to Jeti although the DS conventional layout rather than the Trays that Jay and Paul have. Lots of money but lots of power and telemetry posibilities too.

Im sure futaba would repair it or one of the specialists which I assume still exist it is probably also possible to source the pot and change it yourself.

futaba seem to be phasing out FASST in favour of the cheaper to make FHSS on the new stuff unless you spend lots of money on the likes of a 14sg

Im purposefully not buying receivers for my 8FG knowing full well they are going to be redundant relatively soon.

I have a portable scope and a frequency counter that could measure the pulse width.

thats him! I have heard good things: knowledgeable and cheap

Mick Ridley has some good products too, a servo reverser to solve that "Y lead" problem when you are using the same channel for both flaps and find that they go in opposite directions, on board glow systems etc. A very useful and helpful chap who knows his stuff, used to be in charge of service at McGregor/JR.
