Can LiPo Current Interfere with Radio ? was created by 4Pedalsfly
Hi Guys - Hope you can settle my mind on this - see pic attached.
In my latest project I finish up with the 2.4 GHz aerial wire about 6mm from the LiPo cable.
Is there any danger that current flowing from the battery will interfere with the radio ?

You didn't say you wanted an explanation...here goes...

No, current from a battery cannot interfere with the signal to a 2.4GHz receiver.

But don't forget that thick wires and a solid lump of battery can create a shadow that prevents your signal reaching the receiver...not the same as the question you asked though.

Mike - Thanks again, I'm using FrSky rx with twin aerials, one goes inside the wing & the other down the fuselage away
from the battery so hopefully will not be effected by the "shadow" effect.
