I fancy a chuckabout 3D profile foamie around 30-40 inch span, robust and easily repairable, not too expensive, either kit or preferably ARTF. Does anyone have any recommendations? or at least ones to avoid. I'm fairly clueless with leccy stuff. Also I can only charge Max 6S at 5A

And suitable for Cashmoor

Telink...... You've seen my profile yak55 foamy thing. Robot birds stock telink.
Chris H has recently bought one too.

Good fun, bounces (unless you've had a few and cease to able to fly at all!) but even then, the epp goes back together quickly. Will do 3D, but won't flat spin.

I'm sure hobbyking will also stock similar products so maybe worth a look there too. Depends on your budget.

Telink get my vote too. Being a little bigger they can handle the Cashmoor wind a little better. However, they take up a lot of room in the car and at home, so make sure you go into this venture with your eyes open.

That's the sort of thing Dave, thanks. Did you use the RobotBirds power package or spec the motor and servos yourself? If I just buy the air-frame I'm going be asking lots of questions!

Just as easy to buy the whole set up from them, as Mike has already said they take up more room than you think. Lots of fun though :woohoo:

I did notice that they do removable wing versions. That may be worth considering.
