Charging at the field

Trust members will be interested in this.
Mobility scooters normally have 2 sealed 12 volt leisure type batteries.
Normal practice is to fit 2 new batteries when required, usually one is still
quite serviceable and not disposed of.
I recently obtained a 50Ah battery from local a Mobility shop - the guy tested it & said
it was o.k - price is by negotiation - mine cost £10.00 - a snip for such a good quality item.
I've used a 32Ah one for 3 years & it was fine, recharged it using a car battery charger which
cut out when fully charged.
Using this takes the pressure off the charging station.
