Here you go Frank.
Cashmoor. Tuesday 14th June. Random heavy showers, wind about 13mph gusting up to 23. Dark threatening clouds so not an ideal day for the silver grey Mustang flight. Assembled by the late Frank Robinson but never got flown. A bit of rewiring was required. Maiden showed it was under powered so I swapped out the motor for a SK3 5045 660kv (ex Wots Wot). Used the original Wots battery a 5 cell giving about 1000 watts WOT on 13 inch prop. Flies a lot better now even in high winds. Two attempts to land but a succesful touchdown . Found it really needs full rate elevator to stop nose over on touchdown. I might at a later date drop in a 6 cell and reduce prop to 11 inch which would should give about 1350 watts.
The Curare had no issues at all in the weather conditions.
