A recently acquired model has a FX series motor fitted. I'm not sure but I think it's a 160?
Also there is a valve? Fitted on the side of the cowl which has pipes to the engines needle valve and into the fuel tank. I have no idea what the valve arrangement is for.
Many thanks
Simon O

It's a Dubro fuel filler Simon, you need the matching fitting for the end of your fuel pump line. When pushed in it allows flow to the tank and blocks flow to the engine.

I had one but have very recently given it to someone else who had the same issue, not sure if you would be able to get another one.

It is a QuikFil. I have a few and two are still in use. Using it means only two lines required to fill and drain. I may have a spare probe around somewhere your welcome to have. Spare probes are hard to get.

Note: Other brand's probes don't work with it.

That new acquisition? Katana by any chance?

Yes Phil, it's from Hugh Mathews estate. Does it look like a 160 to you? It's fitted with a 18x8 prop. The Katana is a CM model. Yes please to the fuel fitting. Thank you.

Glad it has gone to a good home. !8x8 will be okay even an 18 x 10 if it has been broken in. Ringed version these are. Powerful for their size.

If yoda doesn’t have a filling probe I’m pretty sure I’ve got a spare somewhere
