Mr Dean and I missed what was reported to be a great day on Saturday however we had a 12 hour day door to door off up/over to Norfolk to collect a couple of birds of the war variety....

More to follow and some piccies when we've had chance to get them out.. suffice to say, worth the trip to Norfolk :-)

I 'm told the Norfolk Moki population is quite high - Have your purchase/s impacted that ?????

Hi Kevin,
We wish! Not quite but they are light a couple of 50cc models.
One is destined to have some flavour of 4st Radial at a later date.
Heard a viscous rumour you have or are in the market for a radial?

If i did have Moki desires, they are tempered by the risk of breaking the 20KG limit - highly likely on a scale model.

for example - This one is 24kgs

But the sound.... oh but the sound!
The LMA scheme doesn’t sound too onerous (ask Jay) I will have to go through it for the Hawk in the new year when I put all its scale detail etc back in.
I’ve been looking into Saito 3 cylinder radials (like the FG84 that Simon has in his Corsair) and also looking at the UMS range of multi cylinder radials, 50cc and up, 5, 7 and 9 cylinder but not much info out there on them.

That Stearman has a an 7 cylinder evolution 160cc gas. The current leaders in multiple cylinder motors is Morris Mini Motors. Their stand at the main shows is well worth a visit - especially if their workshop man is available as he brings a lifetime experience of racing motorcycle engine building to the business and has developed all the Saito ignition and induction mods
