Has anyone used a fuel stabiliser in their model fuels to counteract against gummng up, etc after long periods of no use?. My faithful genny has fallen foul of Ethanol fuels so it will get some in the future. Honda Stabilser is good for two years or so they say.

My Honda Lawn mower jets started blocking up post winter storage several yrs ago so i read the manual which recommended draining down the carb bowl each winter - seemed to fix the problem.

I have finally got the Genny running (sort of). Main jet clogged. PIlot jet is easy to access. Main jet needs a special screwdriver so I ground one down. Did not work, couldn't unscrew it and ended up nearly b**gring it right up. Poked it with a fine needle from her sewing box. Now I think the stepper motor governor is playing up to control ECO mode. :( Looks like new parts in the very near future. I want to keep the Genny available at all times just in case we end up back in the early 70's crisis.
