A really good few hours at Donkey Valley in the SouEasterly wind. Really warm and pure blue sky. Two Phoenix 1600s. one was John B's maiden, a Zagi and a Wildthing.

All was well until...............

until...............John decides to land in the copse behind. Could not see it at all as the copse is very dense. Put the Taranis in range check mode and wander around till signal is highest. Still spent quite a long while zeroing in on it. The TX said it was close by but could not spot it. Then after staring at a certain spot for ages I saw a glimmer of red and white. John attempts to climb tree! This will be worth watching, camera ready.
Image 1: Wildthing, Image 2: A Monkey? Image 3: It is now half way down after a rubbish chuck! Image 4: Nearly down - mind your wedding tackle!

Entertaining posting - Lovely spot to be - good to see that John still has his schoolboy climbing skills.
Thanks
Colin.
