The next programme will feature my old slope soaring site - "a hike up Ivinghoe Beacon to meet the model plane enthusiasts flying their planes from the highest point in Buckinghamshire"

Good call Kevin, very positive spin on model flying in general.

Shame about the weather - it always sunshined when i flew there !

I assume the Fixed wing trainer was Andy Symonds of the BMFA.

Some nice slope gliders but did not think much of the power models though - The Riot for example  I think the round landing area was just for the TV. however, it shows our pastime in a more favourable light

You are right Kevin, it was he of “Round the Clubs” fame. Strange that he didn’t take the time to give the BMFA a plug. He gave a little hint with his “over a thousand clubs dotted round the country” remark but I thought that he had missed a great opportunity.

Pity about ending up his touch down nosing over!
