No Jeff don't use skinning, use 50mm wide cross weave tape. If your stuck for coloured tape I have lots of rolls.

Jeff - A Zagi 400 electric version
has just been posted on the BMFA website. It's an untouched kit with a brushed motor & nicads so the kit goes way back.
