Oleo Help was created by Phil Ford
Discovered some oleos in my "parts store" aka "did not know I had them" that are better quality than the ones that I put on Pennzoil Chipmunk. The latter used 3mm screws in loose guides which gave the wheels alternating toe-in, toe out. The discovered ones were, I believe machined down by David T a few years a go. Cannot remember where I purchased them from either. They use 4mm grub screws and slide in the guides much, much better.

What I need help with is to drill accurately/centrally some 6mm bores in the tops 15mm down from the first ridge. Maybe take off the top stump if necessary.

Yes, easy to do if you have a pillar drill or lathe, Pete. I have neither. Why, I still use a hand drill and bit for everything..... ;)

When it comes to essential power tools, my number one would be a Dremmel (or similar) and next is a pillar drill. Mine's a bottom of the range B&Q one that has served me well for years. If you bought fewer models, Phil, you've have plenty of cash to buy one and space to house it too :P

Thank you David. :)

Guys, appreciate your comments and quite agree that it must be one of the most useful tools ever. But never needed one before because I had access to drill presses, sheet metal cutters, grinders, etc in my previous employments. If you buy cheap Asian imports there is every likelyhood of movement of the quill therefore making holes slightly bigger than the drill bit. Anyway cannot warrant the outlay for what is an experiment/trial ;) and no room to hide it..
