For those of you who watched my video on the Wren Open Days may have noticed the turbofan being run up by Mike Murphy. This was an experiment undertaken in conjunction with Lucien Gerard who is now repeating the experiment using the latest Xicoy X45 turboprop engine. The link below is him creating/moulding the shroud for the turbofan. I will be watching the developments on this front with interest as the previous one using the Wren 44i turboprop engine increased the static thrust from 10lb to 10kg!
