Closed loop wire crimping

With absolutely NO fishing experience I masked up and ventured into my local fishing shop looking for some rigging wire. The guy was very helpful and i exited with suitable nylon coated SS stranded wire, these super crimping pliers and some very nice tapered silicone sleeves. for < £20. (apparently these are predator fishing accessories which is no longer in season so i bought the last pair but you can find them on `flee bay.
I'm surprised they are not promoted in the model trade

That crimping tool looks really good. Having lost my Bristol Fighter to a flying wire failure (probably caused by a poor crimping failure) I am always on the lookout for better tool to do the job. Must track one down on Fleebay as many of my models rely on structural flying wires.

Phil - Popped into Lidl store today for 3M tape & spotted CRIMPING PLIER SET.
Contains loads of terminals etc £ 7.99.
Pliers have similar crimping jaws - maybe worth a look.

Hi Colin, they would be wiring crimpers. They crimp terminals differently.

if you search the fishing line crimping pliers by name, there are many other sellers - i just listed one of the better priced sellers
