Hi there bushellmill like you I am also newish to the club and have dxi
regarding the adding of planes I was informed that you just call the next plane
by its name then select it .when required after all set up of course
so far i managed just a couple of flights i also have a riot, club members set it
and also the buddy box is set to your model all we need to do is input our
name then you use the buddy and your trainer member uses your dxi At present
am thinking of buying a traing lead so that I can call on uncles to help me
when the trainers are busy. See you on site and welcome

Adding to John's advice, make sure you change the default model number over to a name. If you only have one model the default will be MDL1 and you need to go into the setup list to change the name over to "RIOT". Then go into the main menu and select a new model which would be MDL2. Once selected you can go to the setup list and give this a real name too. Now you can bind the second model like you have done before.

A little tip...if you are making any adjustments it makes sense to copy your model information to a new memory location and give it a new name, eg. "RIOT2". Then if (and when!) you mess it up you have the original information stored as a backup.
