spektrum dx8 altimeter

help... I have the dx8 with telemetry and I have used the telemetry with an altimeter, but I have managed to mess up the settings on the tx and lost the altimeter display, I have rebound rx and telemetry to a new model memory and regained the display but still have problems the read out reads -3ft all the time. I have had the rx, telemetry unit, and the altimeter checked by horizon and they say all is perfect. any ideas welcome thanking you all in anticipation. chris

now sorted after a lot of head scratching and playing all set up and working fine

It might be helpful for others if you could explain how you solved it.

I ended up resting the model memory for that position on transmitter to factory settings and started from there
