Spektrum AR400 and AR610C receivers was created by MikeSeale
I'm considering using one of these receivers in my Wot Trainer with my DX6i and wondered if anyone was using them? I'm assuming they do not need a satellite receiver? I've only used the transmitter with indoor/parkflyer receivers before so your advice and comments are welcome.

Mike, I have used the AR400 in zagis, gliders, etc . My MX2's and the like are using AR600 (full range) used extensively with no problems. Albeit, for a really locked on RX, I would use the AR6210 which comes with a satellite. The latter having effectively 4 antennas.

Really down to what you want spend and feel comfortable with. Nearly all my models except the big stuff use AR6210 (DSM & DSMX) which is the updated version of the AR6200. All of these are compatible with a DX6.

I'm using an AR400 in the SIG Rascal. It connects to the DX9 really fast, better than any other rec I have tried.
I came across an American range test on the AR400 that was very convincing.
It has no satellite, but does have two aerials, the long one with an amplifier. I just paid £19.xx for another one at SMC.
