Some of may know I lived approx 12miles away from from Old warden and was a regular visitor. I also had membership of the model club. Its probably the only thing i miss after relocating down here 12 yrs ago.

It should be on everybody's bucket list.

Great pics Peter, I remember going there to one of the flying days when I was quite young, no doubt my Dad would remember when it was!

Yes, great set of images, thanks Peter.
Jon suggested I do a memory check for him. He’s been twice with me, once to see one of our founder members (Ian Matterface) take his flight in Shuttleworth’s G-ABAG DH.60G Gipsy Moth which Ian won in a raffle (the flight not the aircraft!) which I ran for the club, and again on a model flying day when I flew my Hiper Bipe. Both occasions were when we were living three houses ago. We moved into that house in 1976 (Jon was 12) and left it in 1988. That’s the best I can do.
