YEP 60 Speed Controller for Hobbyking

My Sebart Angel has been flying successfully on the YEP 60 Speed controller for a number of years without any problems.

On Wednesday it has now changed to a slow start up - fine if you are flying a heli, but not very useful in a plane.

I have delved into the mystical world of chinese-english instructions, you-tube videos etc and have now got a sore head.

On the internet there does seem to be a programming card (with two levels of programming)

So I was wondering if anyone else has solved a similar problem or has the two level programming card I could borrow.

OR should I now not trust the speed controller?

Ian, I have a YEP Prog Card II which belonged to Simon.O; Yours for free if you can make use of it (Simon would agree...)

While you wait for the programming card, try this...

1. Remove prop
2. Switch on transmitter and set throttle stick to full
3. Connect battery and wait for a little tune.
4. Move throttle stick to off.
5. Wait for a tune again.
6. Move throttle to full.
7. Wait for a tune.
8. Move throttle to off.

You should now hear the normal startup tune and all is reset for a fast start up.
