Tailwheel now complete . Doesn’t look like much extra but was actually double that in my first post due two attempts on the steering tiller and a complete rethink on the suspension which has increased weight to 100 gm (4ozs) but should be OK with an estimated AUW ITRO 20 lbs
last two shots - Because the tiller swings when the suspension is compressed, the closed loop connection has to pitch and the wires require some method of spring compensation so made this mock up to prove everything

Impressive stuff Kevin, watching this thread with interest. Is this project going to be a home for Frank's Saito or do you have other plans for powering the Provost?

Obviously the Saito is the intended and primary choice but i have major concerns on how to extract sufficient cooling air while retaining a reasonable scale appearance of the cowl. Brian Winch has published many articles about cooling these engines.

Unfortunately, the wing has developed a 3 Deg warp between the tips but 2 days after removal of the top skin, the structure has relaxed to within 0.8deg. I hope careful replacement using there clamps should produce a good result.
Many thanks to Flying Pete for offering to help but i like a challenge. (i think)
