Also reinforced the wheel spats with carbon

I seem to get epoxy everywhere when i use it, so wrapped the spats in clingfilm and then taped around the opening, then use a sharp knife and cut out the opening, now the whole spat is protected with clingfilm :)

That's a good look Chris. Think you should leave the protection on :-)

Good effort on the spats but you have a way to go Chris. I have an acquaintance who owns a classic car, he trailers it to events and wraps all exposed parts, suspension wheels and brakes etc in cling film before he ventures out with it just to make sure it's still nice and shiny when it comes to the judging.

Got a bit carried away today, and forgot to take any photos

Anyway, apart from soldering up some battery connectors and then setting all throws on the control surfaces it is done :)

I will take some pictures in the morning, before hopefully heading up to Cashmoor for the maiden flight

Hardly a rush job, worked on it from 9am until 11.30 pm, just setting the C of G now and then it is done

Looks great Chris, I hope it flies as well as it looks, was the maiden uneventful?

All the best, Chris

Not entirely, some muppet had somehow turned the trims off on the TX
luckily it wasn't too far out of trim
