Phil ford and Simon dean have one each, I know they had issues with retracts going through wings but I'll let them elaborate, they looked awesome though!

Yes Chris, great to fly, no bad habits as long as air speed is kept especially on turns. Looks fantastic on a strafing run over the field low. They don't float in though, need some power on landing to keep airspeed above stall or "bang" they drop like a brick. I know! :( Landing gear through wings badly. In retrospect I should have came in with wheels up and bellied it after I lost power. Needs a good roll-out and speed or left wing drops and .................

Fuselage is solid enough but recommend some wood fillets around firewall bulkhead. Wings are fully sheeted and the retracts are integral servo operated. Makes up a bit of weight so I would think on Eflite electric versions.

I have one still in a box (new) but unable to assemble due to lack of space in hangar at present. Still got the MKI fuselage in the loft, it was electric but the Eflite 60 (6 cells) was scale power, I think next time a power 90 (8 cells). However, Jon thought that my EP version performed better than Simon's 125 Saito 4 stroke although Simon's sound nice. ;)

Heavy plane and I never got it under the weight Hangar 9 declared.

I understand thats its going to have a nasty tipstall what warbird doesn't!!!!
I think my power plant will have "enough" power to pull this around nicely!! ;)

Selling it? Not thinking of it at the moment.

The Mustang is still available but no stocks in UK at present unless you special order it. What about a ME109e 60 size. It was the latest addition to the Horizon catalogue so should be some about. I have the CML/Top Gun version, in fact I have two and half kits... One new in a box, one assembled (nearly ready to fly - running-in new engine) and a pair of wings (the grp fuselage got broke and could'nt be arsed to reglass it)

Aha! Strangely enough there are no canopies left in stock anywhere at present. I wonder why? (Because they are all in the wheat field probably) The MX2 apparently is being discontinued. :( But Nick at Century is going check on spares.

Lucky I bought another MX2 a while a go for spares....

Have you contacted Kings Lynn Models for a status on the BN Mustang?

Hi Chris , I can confirm that I have one . Great looking model in the air and on the ground. When I finished mine Jon , Dave and Pete M had quite a few flights and made it look great in the air but all worked had to land nicely. Mine has 125 saito which sounds great but has to flown nearly flat out to maintain good handling. I repaired wings once when wheels went through on landing, and managed a few landings before I did it again. Think that I had this model too soon in my flying career to cope with the landings but enjoyed it in the air. My Fuz is in good condition but wings need work to fly again. We can have a chat if you're interested in more repair work as don't think I'll fly it again .
