The year Mitch won the F3A Nat's and I was second. We were both 25 at the time, so younger than Dave B is now

Phil Williams was also in the top 20 as I remember, back in these days there used to be regularly 50-60 entries all flying in the FAI class regardless of what class they usually flew. Happy days!

Surely a remake needed for the next Flying matters

We not only bore the younger ones, we bore each other!
Don't believe we could do a reconstruction, Mitch can't find those wellies.

We can remember the stories but forget to whom we have told them.
We also forget how to spell NOSTALIA, and don't check before we hit sned.
Last edit: 29 Jan 2015 19:34 by Phil-C. Reason: I was trying to be ironic, but obviously failed

I thought I'd quote this before Phil has a chance to correct it!

Me too, I know how much he hates having his blunders pointed out!

What models were being flown and which power supply in the cover shot? Also was it wet that year at the Nats or did Mitch usually wear wellies back in those days ?

My attempt at irony obviously failed, as it says in Reasons for Editing in my post above.
I was, of course, including myself in the criticism. We are all as bad as each other. maybe it's a sign of the times, the instant comment and the ease of reply.
In this case, the "mistakes" were deliberate. That is not always the case.
