Christmas Curare was created by Phil Ford
Christmas addition to the family. Would have loved to build one but no space and leaning towards lazy so I bought an ARF

All the way from Germany a classic pattern ship. This new model can be glow or electric, adaptors supplied. Now here is my dilemma. I have got a OS55 to go into it and a header, just need a genesis pipe. Or throw in a 5055 (1450watt) motor? Would it be criminal to electrify?

Why is it in Propellor Club? It has not a got a category yet! ;)

Simon, I think you might have misread the post. I have just bought it for myself for Christmas... ;)

You can purchase from Schweighofer in Germany for 299 Euros. In conjunction with Hanno Prettner they recreated and produced this arf. Allowing for discounted postage of 9.20 euros it only cost me £213 from them instead of £281.50 here.

Sorry, no blues so it's the same colour as yours but if you like I'll make it EP. Howzat?

No E-Flites 25-46 mains in stock in UK (I have spare 25-46 steering though). Looks like the Germans will have to send me some Jetcrafts (149Euros) :(

Have you used any? Can you recommend some? I bought some of these
Turnigy retracts and the nose retract only worked a few times before it failed. Also, you've got to supply the legs which adds to the cost. I might use the main gear in a future project but so far these have been a waste of money.

I bought the JetCraft retracts from SMC for my Blue Angel and, although they show them in stock, I got a phone call the next day telling me they would have to order them from Germany. I think (could be wrong) that SMC are buying from Schweighoffer because I have not been able to find any other outlet for this product. IOW, you might as well buy direct from Schweighoffer yourself and save a few quid.
