3 blade spinner cutouts

A member asked me to cut out a spinner for 3 blade prop so being a gluten for punishment i said ok 
Started by making a thin card template to fit one blade from which i made a curved alloy template - ( i used the thin alloy wrap from a scrapped lipo) 
Used the template to optimise the blade position on one of the original cutouts. 
Matching the other two cut outs was beyond my hand skills so used a tilting rotary table in the vertical mill 
Then made a series of individual cuts and rotating the table 120 / 240 360 degree 
but this became monotonous so removed the handle and fixed a drill to the shaft then fine tuned each position by hand

Finally blending was done with a rotary rasp and small sanding drum. 
Like most things, the time was in the prep work  but it averaged an hour per cut out 

 

Wow, that was a bit work Kevin!  Looking forward to seeing it in the flesh

Now I know where to go if I need a better job done than I usually make of spinner cut outs!

But I am wondering why, in ordrer to get punished, Kevin needs to be a protein found in the wheat plant and some other grains.

Yes, I wondered about that too. Gluten?  I think he means a glutton for punishment which also tells us that he will likely do it again shortly.  Dig out your ally spinners!

I thought then spelling was wrong but then i thought - no worry, i know a man with the knowledge !!
