Panther flame out

After yesterday's flame out the Panther didn't look like she had a great deal of damage other than both wing tips and some impact damage to the belly. I have stripped back the bottom sheeting and she has basically broken her back in two places. This will be the fourth time it has been repaired and to be honest I'd rather channel my efforts into a new project. It's a real shame as it was a nice flying scale jet.
I will put her away in the roof space and one day I may repair her.

So sorry to hear the damage is worse than first thought.

As we discussed on Sunday it is often best to park the problem for a few months and then come back to it when enthusiasm for the task returns. Despite the flameout (which I assume you still think was caused by that bung in the main tank not sealing properly and could therefore be fixable) it is still a lovely model and flies really well.

However, I for one am looking forward to your next project making some significant progress now the Winter months are fast approaching.

Thanks boy's for your words of encouragement. Chilver aviation will be doing a full on winter build. The A-10 will be for another day so I'm going to build a F9f Couger. Larger than the Panther but will build it ultra light so can still use the wren 100..
