What! - Not Another Project was created by throttletothewall
Yes, I have been tempted yet again! This time it is a scratchbuilt 1:3.48 Scale Miles M77 Sparrowjet (98 inches wingspan).

However, this project does no look too daunting, on first inspection at least, just swap out some of the servos, install the radio gear and two engines & support equipment and set everything up. So I am now on the lookout for a couple of low hours, kero start Wren MW44 Gold turbines, so if any of you hear about any at a reasonable price please let me know. Don't know how long it will take me to find the engines at the right price though so watch this space? Oh, and before any of you tell me there were a couple of Wren 44s on the BMFA Classifieds website earlier this week, I know, I missed them by about 90 secs!!!!!******

What about all the other "projects" languishing in the roof space?

Don't encourage him Dave! Peter has lots of "projects" already gathering dust and cobwebs. ;)

Peter - This aircraft appeared in a recent programme on British Jets, looked good in flight.
I've had good results when posting in the "Wanted" section on the BMFA website, look forward to
seeing pics of the airframe.
Thanks
Colin.

Managed to assemble the airframe today, it breaks down into four sections the two wing outer panels and the fuselage brakes just behind the wing. Wing section is a very thick Clark Y type just like the Miles Sparrowhawk which is the origin of the full size Sparrowjet airframe. Should climb like a homesick angel with that thick wing section.

This project could escalate you into the sub group WWVM ( Wimborne White Van Man )

Kevin makes reference to the many members of

the sub group WWVM

He has obviously overlooked the fact that Peter is already the founder member of the WWTT (Wimborne White Trailer Towers)

One of these would suit Peter

I reckon you'll need that thick wing section to lift enough fuel for two turbines Peter, or will you be the first in the Club to refuel a model in flight?
