International Formation Jet Masters

I'm pleased to report that Steve and Matt Bishop are the 2014 Champions.

After five rounds of close competition between 13 teams from England, France, Germany, Italy and Switzerland our boys did it!

The clincher was the amazing performance of this father and son team in the final Free-Style round where they put on a James Bond themed display which had the huge crowd whooping and hollering. In this brilliant family performance Steve's grandson raced up and down with his r/c car letting off rockets and explosions against a background of further pyrotechnics while The Reds, besuited, bow ties with shoulder holsters on show, did their close formation thing to a medley of James Bond film music.

No doubt the club put on an even more astounding performance at Bygone Days.

Apologies for the fact that the preview function doesn't seem to be working so I can't if see a photo I thought I'd attached has made it.

Unfortunately when judging you have to concentrate on the flying - not spend time videoing the models!
I did leave my camera running just resting on the judging table but have yet to see what it took. Maybe a club night sometime later in the year as there will be an official DVD in time.

You'll have to make do with that for the time being.
