Got a bit more time 'faffing' with installation yesterday. Fired the powerbox up - brilliant piece of kit. Began nailing things in...

Have planned to make everything (that I need to get to between flights) accessible by removing the rear seat and so far so good.
Next step is to get air tanks in and plumbed up, then I need to get the wing on and get wiring to length and make up the 12 socket molex (ash-lok) connector.

Also pictured are my three nose light options. Multi led disc, COB spotlight LED. 12V halogen..... Led's obviously less consumption and a lot less heat, but doesn't give that lovely warm glow that the Reds nose light HAS to be... Decisions decisions.

Now that my major life event has been and gone, I plan to get back on with getting this done. Then again, have a new engine to get in my sbach and electric option to get in the primo! Need to work less, play more!

December 30th actually falls on a Wednesday, I was looking at a 2014 Calendar! Just add a year onto anything I say.

Not to be outdone by Pete today...I also squeezed in some time (30mins) and gave some attention to the hawk.

I've obtained a suitable nose light and successfully output mapped the Competition SRS with the majority of the servos! Oh and two more strob units arrived today from braincube.

Hopefully can spend a little more time tomorrow evening on it

Okay Dave. Can you give me a clue for maiden so I also get video camera set up. Loosely though, say April maybe push it to May before IMAC weekend?..

Too many variables... Might be moving house in the next 3 months now too! (Woooo, finally a garage back on site!) Funnily enough I did download the IMac schedule last night.

It should be ready for the summer! I also have a new camera to try
