On board generator was created by flyingpete
Iv been reading an article on the new generation of jet cat turbines that they will drive an on board generator running through a regulator so you can set the voltage for the tx batterys/turbine and retract lipo's and keep them charged as you fly.
How cool is that B)

Very cool Pete. :) Maybe someone has thought up an glow/gas engine powered alternator too.

Quite surprised really - You may be able to reduce on board battery weight but It takes energy to run a generator and that means increased fuel consumption.
