This video was uploaded to YouTube, this time last year. Seen flying at Panoramaflugtag 2012 in Ohlsdorf.

Truly a remarkable model. Pilot near flumped with a sudden increase of elevator at end of grass strip. So would've I too! ;)

Takes time and expertise and serious money - which German's seem to have.....

Certainly a nice model. The nose seems to droop too much which spoils it for me.

I remember seeing one about this size (probably a bit smaller) with 4 ducted fans flying at Abingdon back in the 1980's. If flew very scale like (ie slowly) due to the limited power compared to this turbine model. Modern building materials and new(ish) technology make these models much more attainable.
