I may have this bass ackwards but, what I want is Rolo with a fully symmetrical, probably foam, wing - with the potential for power assist ( maybe plug in). What do you think Mike? By the way I'm impressed with your film cutting skills :)

I need to tidy up the plans before publishing, but there is no reason why you couldn't swap wing construction method and aerofoil sections. Sticking a motor in the nose would be possible. But if you wanted to use a spinner it would require some modifications because the nose is a lot taller than it is wide in that area.

Regarding the film cutting...if you mean the graphics/lettering, I do cheat with a vinyl cutter. Liyu vinyl cutter

With regards to film cutting I use either a rotary cutter or get the misses to do it.The results you get from a vinyl cutter make that investment worth considering. Your choice of fuselage x-sections remind me of ridge racer, aeolus, kipper designs; does a round fuselage really make that much difference? The utility of having flat field and slope options in one airframe might make a compromise on performance worth considering. I'm looking at fixing my Demonstrator wing and the gravity fed foam wing cutter you've used on the Lupo/ Rubin( I think I've got that right) is an option I'm considering - it would then have a wider application for a modified Rolo.
