Sorry Colin didn't see your topic till after I posted the details of my design in the Electric Power forum.
Had another flight of my Lidl's glider conversion this morning. With a cold, secondhand 400 mAh battery achieved 7 minutes. The motor is a High End Technology (HET) Typhoon 5/3D. The stated rpm/V is not known as I bought it secondhand. It pulls 8.8A and 102 watts turning a 7x6 prop at 7,500 revs. The maths says under load therefore it is 640rpm/V. It will loop from a level flight.
Hi Rick - No problem at all - thanks for adding it to previous postings.
I have spec sheet for HET 5/3D - 1200KV , 80 W max - 14poles - listed for 3D flying
model weight 150/300 g - suggested prop 8 x 3.8 , 9 x 3.8 for 3 cell set up.
Couple of projects to finish then I'll be onto mine - intend following the Salisbury
set up with no dihedral and more power for " Hot Liner " type performance.
Kind Regards
Colin.

Colin, I think you’ll need a bit more pitch on your prop if you seek “Hot Liner" performance, what you have there is probably more suited to 3D flying!
David - Thanks for your comments, that motor was intended for light 3D
models hence prop sizes.
Rick used a 7 X 6 which worked out o.k.
Hope to get mine started soon.

Colin
Finally got round to flying my Lidl Glider yesterday and well pleased with its performance.
I decided to go for Hot Liner / Aerobatic performance rather than a floater with thermalling capability.
Dihedral was removed from outer wing panels, ailerons added & elevator cut into tailplane.
Pocket was cut into bottom of fuselage for LiPo , receiver & E.S.C mounted in nose with the
E.S.C glued into the removable canopy cover.
Wings, tailplane & fuselage reinforced with carbon rod & strip, all glued with epoxy adhesive.
Motor - H.E.T. Micro 6/20 1,800 KV , Servos Hitec HS65HB -
ESC. - Jeti 18A , LiPo - 3S 1300mAh
Prop - APC 7x5 E - Current Draw limited to 13A - = 143 W = 157 W per Ib
Finished Weight - 412g - wing loading 11.43 oz per sq ft
Control Movement - All + - 10mm with 20% Expo.
Wing incidence is quite high hence large amount of downthrust on motor at about 15 degrees.
2 Pics attached - more to follow showing additional detail.
