Well what can i say other than a big heartfelt thank you to you guy's for your support and kind words.I spent the day going through the wreckage to see what could be saved and was happy to see the Motor and retracts were ok and the radio gear and servo's seem ok.After seeing the pictures Jon posted really made my mind up that i will build another hurricane after i have finished Fran'ks provost.
Thank's again for getting me through a very tough 24 hrs and stay tuned for the next hurricane build thread.

Pete

Hi Pete, from here in Holland I'm a bit late with my expressions of regret for the unfortunate end to the very short life of your beautiful Hurricane but my thoughts are none the less heartfelt for that. It's good to see that you have quickly reached the state of mind where your are ready to produce a repeat of the 'plane. And it will take you even less time than the first one with all the little improvements and short cuts you incorporated already in mind and, at least, it's good news that the expensive bits have survived.

Keep up the good work, Regards, David

That's great news, Glad the depression was short lived :)

Was any of the airframe salvageable? The rear fus and tail didnt look that bad yesterday?

Pete - So sorry to read of the Hurricanes demise, I followed the thread & was so looking forward to seeing her fly.
I admire your resolve & look forward to seeing the Sea Hurricane build thread.
About 10 years ago my scratch built Spitfite suffered a similar fate on her maiden flight but luckily I was able
to repair her.
Regards
