On The Eastern Front was created by JRI
After a number of moral improving 'shootings' the Colehill Mikoyan Guravich factory collective have made significant progress on the Mig3.
A 3W 55i has been installed and the manifold tuck away inside the fus' awaiting a K&S tuned pipe to be attached. The wing has been installed and mounting plates and pins in complete accordance with the chinglish instruction 'attach wing using components - incorrect here will result in crash'. ESM electric retracts to be installed next then epoxy tail and wing panels.

A big MIG! Looking good John.

Looks like this year could be '44 again with the known war bird fans for 2016....... ;)

You do realise John that if you run out of fuel you are expected to crash it into a worthwhile target. for the motherland.

Excellent stuff John - What's your verdict on the quality of the kit and ease of build?

Excellent quality fibre-glass fus and cowl - very strong and heavy duty. Nicely made built-up wings too. Canopy is a bit brittle and the wheel wells need some fettling to fit into the wing, but overall very pleased.. First time I have seen a pull-pull system for the rudder and both individual elevators. Has a large 3 piece split air-brake/flap so should be able to land pretty slow.
However, not a beginners model as some of the instructions need interpretation and wing and motor and exhaust installation needs some thought and measurement. I just love the look of the MiG3 and some of the other 50cc ESM YT International models are also quite unique ...
