November club night - Friday 8 November

It has been suggested that an evening to discuss setting up radios might be useful. We have many new members and all the features available on a modern radio can be bewildering. And for many of us who have been flying for decades, a new radio can also be daunting. Rather than trying to cover everything, and possibly not answering your specific question, we think it would work best if we split the room into various brands/software so that you were able to get better one-to-one or few-to one help. Before proceeding with this idea, we need to know the following:

1. Would you find an evening on radio set up useful?
2. What brand of radio/software do you use?
3. Do you consider yourself good enough to lead a group or would you be there in a learning capacity only?

Hopefully we will have plenty of questions for our volunteers to answer tonight. And although we have not had a Spektrum user step forward, I'm sure we will have enough Spektrum users there tonight in order to share collective knowledge.

Hope so Mike I've got 2 Spektrum members needing help coming tonight, one member, Ashley, joined the club today!

Roughly 25% of the membership turned up, a little bit of transmitter discussions going on but mainly just groups mainly bantering, exchanging ideas and doing some catch-up - basically socialising. Good stuff.
