Thanks All for additional comments - pic of final installation attached.
The ferrite ring for the Ubec was supplied loose in the packet so the unwary
could easily omit fitting it, the other ferrite ring is on the E.S.C. lead.
I will check to ensure there are no interference issues before maiden flight.

Careful of your Velcro polarisation too. Has to be furry bottom on the receiver otherwise the 2.4Ghz will have a dead spot directly under the receiver.

Kevn - Thanks for the "Velcron" update - my garage is both dark & moist - guess I need some
anti-Velcron spray to protect my models against possible infestation.

Best policy is to isolate the two animals. Keep Vel (velour) in another room from Cro (crochet). Also keep the plastic sheet between them, this will stop any unintentional clinging on or reproduction. Only bring them together when absolutely necessary. I believe that there are other similar creatures known as 'ook n loop usually living in or found in Yorkshire
