Carb rebuild kits

Carb rebuild kits was created by AlanF
I need to rebuild the carb on my OS 22 petrol engine. I'm reasonably sure it requires a K10 Wat rebuild kit which I believe Just Engines sell for around 15 quid and they appear to sell a Walbro item. The question is has anyone tried the kits available from ebay, which are presumably Chinese knock-offs, for much cheaper. Any thoughts?.

I would consider trying a cheapy if only to see if currents symptoms change.

I'v used cheap replacement carbs from ebay and they have been as good as the originals .

If it was me, I would buy it from just engines, you know what you are getting then

The risk of buying a cheap one from ebay is that you dont know if it will work properly, you could then think the problem is something else when it isnt

I get what you're saying Chris - I'll give that some thought. I may have to do the OS 33 as well . If that takes the same kit that will have a bearing on what I do. I think both are WT carbs and the K10 is generic for all WT carbs. Just need to confirm this.
