Advice gas turbine

Careful you don’t spill any Kero - it stinks until it’s burnt at which point it turns into the best smelling exhaust gas out there!

You can use premium paraffin too (doesn’t smell so bad unburnt) but it’s more expensive.
Some run turbines on red diesel but I’ve no experience with that.

You’ll need some containers when you go to Red Eagle as it’s dispensed from the pump. 20L containers are ideal as most turbines need 5% oil ratio so 1 quart (946ml) of oil to 20L Kero is about right.

I have found modelbau in Hampshire to be the cheapest for turbine oil @ £8.55/quart.

P.S. I think Red Eagle sell 25 litre containers for Kero if you need one.

Thanks for the speedy reply. I've got a 20L caddy I can use to start me off. The nice chap that sold me the model gave a tin of turbine oil, he said mix that in with 20L of fuel and that should be 5 percent. Where is Red Eagle?
