Obviously i dealt with many full size post birdstrike inspections and subsequent repairs but one aspect many people may not be aware of is the residual stench as generally the complete animal and its innards are splayed in the collision.

There doesn't appear to be any guts on your T33 so i guess you contacted the birds wing. Had you caught the body i suspect the damage would be far worse.

But I was thinking of Hitchcocks "The Birds" and revenge so Jon ought to check if there are hundreds of Crows on his TV aerial and phone lines tomorrow :lol:

I've started on the repair today and opened the wing up, no guts found! Even at a distance I a saw a large object drop away, so the bird was probably pretty intact after the impact.

The spar, at the tip is where the damage finished, so structurally it looks ok, but I will be thoroughly checking everything.
