Retro jet was created by flyingpete
After the demise of the Panther last week I was left without a suitable turbine powered model for the winter. I've chosen the retro jet not for its looks or aerobatic ability but a simple rugged design that will use my wren 100 and keep me flying a turbine powered model until the spring when the cougar will be ready. I've ordered up the plan and cnc kit so when that arrives it will only be a week or so for me to get her built and flying. If I have enough interest with this jet trainer I will do a full build thread.

Hi Pete, that's an unusual jet powered model, I'd be interested in a build blog.

The Cougar is also a brilliant subject and the colour scheme really suits it. B)

I’ll be interested in a build thread Pete, looks like a good jet trainer. No retracts which has to be a bonus.

Ok guys here we go
First job is to join the two fuselage sides together and mark the former positions. Next is to cut free the tabs on the cnc cut formers sheet. Using med cyano the two main formers glued in and wing seat and u/c supports.

Pity I'll be away next Saturday Pete, looks as if I'll probably be missing the maiden flight!
