That rudder horn looks really serious Pete. Advantages of a machine shop I think.

Did you pick up the radial too? I handled it once just after Frank acquired it. A truly wonderful piece of engineering. :) Will be interesting to see the exhaust system though.. :lol:

Yes Phil i have got the radial,and as you say it is a truly wonderful bit of kit,can't wait to hear it running :woohoo:

The airframe is now complete, jobs to do sheet bottom wing add leading edge sand to shape.fully sheet the fuselage sand to shape.Trial fit everything and when happy will think about the covering. Will add pics as and when this week. The weather will play a big part as I like to do the sanding outside.

Firewall pinned and try stock inside motor box,glued to fuselage. Don't think the big radial will be going anywhere
