Wasn't it an MFA kit Mike?

I think I remember the bulkhead install being pretty fiddly, I did do mine with polyester resin though!

I converted mine to a taildragger so I could put retracts in it, looked great with the wheels up. Got some photos somewhere, I will try and find them.

That's right, Jon...MFA. Well remembered. The bulkhead was probably glued with epoxy and then reinforced with fillets of polyester and chopped glass. I'm sure this survived the crash.

All being well there will be a Bullet at Cashmoor tomorrow - mine. Actually my second, I built the first one in around 1977, amazingly my "new" one is using the same engine as inhabited number 1, an OS 40, and by the sound of it it still has the original bearings.

Started digging through some old photos to find one of my Chevron, now I have found one, I really wish I hadn't sold it!! Mind you, if I had kept it it would probably be completely rotted away by now :)

Really did like this model, it really taught me a lot.

Also found some other old favourites

Double vision, 2 x OS40's, went like stink, Mitch and I both built one. Another one I wish I hadn't sold, I think Mitch still has his. These would have been taken early 80's, we looked so cool
